NEW EXPERIENCE

Hello readers! It has been a long time since I wrote my last entry. Sorry for that. My days are full with lots of activities and can't really have the time to write an entry. Anyway, Im not really in a good health now as I have a sorethroat a day before going back from camp. *sigh

4 days ago, my friend and I went to a camp which is called "Program Bina Insan Guru", a must-go camp for teacher trainee. We want to Kem Alapong, Lundu and stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. It was a great experience for me and others too, although it really challenge our physical and mental strength throughout the camp. The most unforgettable thing that I cant forget is kayaking. My partner was Rebecca and we both very excited at the beginning and really try hard to reach the middle of the ocean (almost 1.5 km). Its quite tiring. Suddenly, Becca felt sick and she start to felt dizzy and she cant really paddle our kayak. I asked her to take a rest and I paddle and control the kayak all by myself. Gosh, that was hard! it took us 1 approx. 1 hour and a half at the ocean and I dont have enough strength to paddle back as Becca cant continue to paddle with me. Since my husband also went kayaking with me, he was the person who help me and make sure we went back to the beach safely. So, thank you abg! I cant forget this. hehe

The day before, we went for jungle trekking at Kampong Bajo and it was extremely exhausting. Although we faced many challenges, we set our mind positively and at last we arrived at our destination. We took a rest near the stream and started to cook our lunch. My team members any I really work hard together to set up a fire and finally we managed to cook fried fish, eggs and vegetable. I really love my team members as we walk through every challenges together and do everything together. That is why we are the TIGER! AAAAAUUUUMMM~ Im really going to miss you all =)

Last but not least, we won the 1st place for Malam Bakat and we are really proud of it. Although last minute preparation and some changes, we managed to potrey our message through our performance. Really proud of TIGER. InsyaAllah, everything that we learn throughout the camp will always in our heart and those weaknesses, we'll try to improve for the future. Thanks Allah for giving us the chance to experience many  things may Allah bless us all. Amin =)

MY SUPER DUPER MOM

Hey readers! This entry is an appreciation to my super duper mom,
SAFTUYAH IBRAHIM.

Alhamdullillah, thanks to Allah, I still have both of my parents today. I have been well-raised in this family by them although we are not having a very wealthy lifestyle. I undergo many ups and down most of it with my mom because she is the coolest mom ever.

My mom work as a cleark nearly 20+ years at Maybank and never accept a promotion from her boss as she afraid she will be so busy and could be transfer to other places. She never wanted to be an executive or what but as long as she do the right and halal job, that is fine with her. She never complain about her work, instead she really work hard in order to give a comfortable life for us.

Why suddenly i want to post an entry about my mom? This idea came into my mind a few days ago where she took orders (cakes)  from people to make an extra income for this Chinese New Year events. Usually my mom will go to work at 7.30 am and should be back at 5.30 pm. Last year, she started to add some extra time to spend at the office and still work at night today. Thus, she will be back home at around 8.30 pm everyday, yet brought her undone work also with her. And sometimes she will work on saturday & sunday (or public holiday). My mom is a super duper mom because she never complain about her work although I can really see her tired eyes. She really work hard to feed us with delicious foods and to spoil us with things that we want.

This week I spend my one week holidays at home in Miri. My mom had her holidays for 2 days. Since I came back, she came from her work at 8 pm and straight away baked some cakes. This week alone, she had to bake 8 cakes. Last 2 days, she baked cakes until midnight and it really touched my heart. Seriously, I nearly cry. I really see her determination in making money for her and our life. I pity her and I helped her with it (not really, what a shame right?) =/. Although I know she is tired being all day at the office, but still, she can managed to baked all the cakes. My mom really a super duper mom! She enjoyed doing what she love to do.

I solute her for that I will make sure one day she will have a super happy life, Amin. InsyaAllah, you will get what you supposed to get mom. I promise you, you will never been forgotten. Thanks for all the harwork, love, and determination in keeping us with you all along. I really love you mom and no one can ever beat my super duper mom.

My Brain Need A Break

Finally weekend had arrived. I supposed to enjoy my weekend and have a nice beautiful rest rather than sitting in front of the laptop and googling some facts and bla bla bla. Its the 3rd week since we started our 1st sem of degree. Oh, it feels like something is sucking out my brain out of my head. Its terrible you know. Nevermind, i have to deal with it anyway. And it will continue for 4 years in a row. Feww~ =.="

I started my weekend today, jogging at 6.30 in the morning with friends at the Astaka. And my hubby was there too. I managed to jog around the tracks for 4 rounds which is equivalent to 1600m. Not good enough as my friends managed to complete 7-8 rounds in a row! wow! I better try next time ^^,

Anyway, back to the topic, my brain really need some rest. Too tired to think about homework and all kind of stuffs. My notice board did not have enough space to list down all of my reminders of homework to do. Oh, you know what it means. huhu. I just finished my forum text for next week and still have a lots of things to do espacially the ISL (Independent Self Learning). Lecturers will give a task weekly based on the topic given and there is 7 subjects this semester, and there are 7 ISL need to be completed at the end of the week. And it is not include that tutorial (presentation) and other exercises. Im TIRED! =/

Hopefully i can continue my work and try to finish it today. I've planned something with hubby tomorrow. InsyaAllah, if everything goes fine, i'll share it with you =)

Lots of love, FiQa ^^,

THE BEGINNING OF A NEW LIFE

What a perfect day for me to begin my 1st entry for 2011. Im quite busy lately because i am starting my degree years in IPTAR this January. Talking about it, at first i thought everything is going to be fine. But obviously, im wrong. we started our class for a week now, and it was quite though as the new subjects that we have to take. This semester, we are going to be expose to Linguistic  & Literature a little deeper. Believe me, it is HARD.

Anyway, my first day of 2011, that is the 1st January, i encounter a lot of problems and challenges. The 1st January, my husband and I supposed to take a flight to Kuching at 12.40 noon. Unfortunately, AIRASIA had delayed our flight 2.40pm. I got frustrated and a bit angry as I know, i would not have enough time to arrive in IPTAR and taking my room key at the office. What a day. Then, my father decided to go back home and take a rest a little while. At about 1.30, my parents drop us at the airport and we checked in. and you know what? The flight, again, delayed to 3.20pm. gosh! Im pissed off already and try to calm myself down. And for that, i watched Saw 7 with my hubby.

Alhamdulillah, finally, we take off at about 3.30pm. As soon as I arrived, we went to Bus Terminal to take our box which we send through bus the day before. And? The office is closed! sigh* So, we have to take it the next day. On our way to IPTAR, i got a phone call from my mumm ad said a bad news. My uncle, Hairosalleh Armin had passed away that evening, Im devastated! Im sad because I am not there by his side. But it never stops me to pray for him. May Allah blessed him always. I love you wak, and we'll be missing you always ='(

Finally, the worst thing that happened that day was my roomate and I did not have our room key. We have to take it the next day because it already close for that day. It was very frustrating because i have planned that i must clear all of my stuff that day so that i can go out the next day to do some shopping. Like it or not, we have to deal with it. Then, we decided to move all of our boxes upstairs and use one of our friend's room for that night. Finally, the next day, we managed to get the key and started our day with cleaning up the new room.

I love the new room and of course i miss my roomate. Im not sure till when we will still be roomate. but honestly, im comfortable with her and we do experience a lot of thing. Although she is 1 year younger than me, we quite close to each other and share a lot of thing. Thank you for giving a new life to me. Hopefully, this year will be a great year for me, my family, friends and everyone!

P/S: Al-Fatihah for my late uncle, Hairosalleh Armin. May his soul rest in peace. Amin.
